Reimar Hotel
Reimar is a historic, iconic hotel founded in 1962 in the heart of the Costa Brava. To expand and renovate the property, its owners commissioned an architecture, interior design and identity project centered on the idea of a family hotel. I led the visual identity and signage design in close collaboration with architect Jordi Tió.

Transforming Without Losing Identity
The starting point for conceptualizing Reimar’s identity was its location, facing the Mediterranean Sea, and its distinctive architecture, reminiscent of a boat run aground on the beach.
Maritime and Mediterranean
To emphasize the hotel’s maritime character, I chose a stencil typeface for the logotype, the kind traditionally used to mark fishing boats. A luminous palette of colors and materials, in navy blue, white and natural wood, completes the identity.
A signage system inspired by the hotel’s architecture completes the identity, built from volumes and layers made up of multiple square modules.
The result is a distinctive, contemporary graphic and formal universe that helps the new Reimar hotel build a better experience for its guests.
